Separating for two missions

Although the Starship: Enterprise, in all of it's iterations, had the ability to separate it's saucer from the rest of the ship, this would be the first time we would ever see it happen. So that feature needed to be designed into the ship. As part of the visualizing process, I produced this scene sketch showing what those sections would look like - apart.
